The For Your Car guide
How can you try a car before you commit to it?
You can try a car through a test drive, a short rental or a car subscription that permits a short term. Compare the time you need with the total cost, mileage, insurance and return rules. A subscription does not automatically mean you can cancel after one month.
- Month-to-month car subscription
- A car-use agreement that renews monthly, subject to its notice, eligibility and minimum-term conditions.
Pick the right kind of trial
A test drive helps you check comfort and controls. A rental may show how a car fits your routine over several days. A subscription may offer longer use, but the minimum term and cancellation rules vary.
Know what you are agreeing to
Check driver eligibility, insurance, mileage, deposits, damage responsibility and return arrangements. A vehicle class may cover several cars, so ask what exact car you will receive. Trying a class is not a promise of a specific model.
How our plan works
RideFling is a monthly car subscription by class from For Your Car. The first cars are being set up now. Scheduled maintenance is part of the plan. In scheduled swap rounds, rank your top three cars from what is available in your class, then book a swap appointment. You can keep a car you love for another round.
Temporary class upgrades are part of the plan, such as a bigger car for a moving weekend. The price and details are confirmed by email. Insurance, mileage allowance, deposit, minimum term and who you hand the car back to are confirmed by email before you sign.
A reservation is a request, not a contract or a payment. A person on Lucky’s team emails you when a car in your class is ready in your area, with the exact car, price and terms, before anything is signed.
